About Us

Joblink Midwest (Inc.) is an established (1988) non-profit organisation located in Geraldton Western Australia servicing the Midwest and Gascoyne regions of our State. 

Joblink Midwest provides free Jobs & Skills Centre and Career Guidance and Employment Assistance services.

Joblink Midwest provides specialised Transition to Work services to assist young people (15-24 years) into the workforce.

​Our Mission
To relieve the poverty, misfortune and/or distress of disadvantaged unemployed and disadvantaged low income earning people, especially young and mature aged people, in the Midwest and Gascoyne areas of Western Australia.

Our Objectives

Objective 1
Provide a case management service to each disadvantaged unemployed person to assist in improving his or her life circumstances and especially to gain adequate employment.
Objective 2
Match disadvantaged unemployed people with suitable work experience opportunities.
Objective 3
Provide outreach services to disadvantaged unemployed and low income earning people especially young and mature aged people.
Objective 4
Participate in the coordination of Community, State and Federal programs pertaining to employment, education and training to improve the delivery of programs and services.
Objective 5
Identify and respond to gaps and opportunities for disadvantaged unemployed and low income earning people by the provision of employment programs and services.
Objective 6
Promote initiatives that will develop increased industry, business and community awareness of education, training and employment opportunities for disadvantaged unemployed and low income earning people.
Objective 7
Network with other agencies and departments and maintain an active involvement to ensure equitable and planned distribution of services for disadvantaged unemployed and low income earning people in the region.
Objective 8
Facilitate the access of disadvantaged unemployed and low income earning people to existing services and employment education and training opportunities.
